This study investigates 8 subcortical brain regions divided by the left and right hemispheres. We demonstrate the use of Highly Efficient Imaging Genetics (HEIG)
to compute Voxel-level GWAS. This method preserves 85-90% of the total variance at a fraction of the storage cost.
